ABOUT THE EXAM
TOEFL is one of the most commonly chosen language exams in the world, opening doors to studies abroad, employment, and international projects. The exam consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. Each section is scored on a scale of up to 30 points, and the maximum total score is 120.
From 26 January 2025, a new exam format applies: the test will be shortened to about one and a half hours and will be adaptive, with the difficulty level and number of tasks changing in real time according to the test taker's ability. The certificate is valid for 2 years and is accepted by universities and institutions around the world.

WHAT SKILLS DOES TOEFL TEST?
The starting point is a solid command of English: grammatical accuracy, rich vocabulary, and confident communication. The exam also tests the ability to use language in an academic setting.
READING
We develop reading comprehension: identifying purpose and organization of texts, interpreting details, drawing conclusions, and distinguishing key from supporting information.
LISTENING
We practise active listening, making concise notes, recognizing the function of fragments, and analyzing the speaker's tone. These skills help connect information from different parts of recordings.
SPEAKING
We develop the ability to organize speech logically, use natural vocabulary, and build coherent arguments. We work on fluency, pronunciation, and intonation.
WRITING
We learn to organize text logically, use appropriate linking expressions, and choose vocabulary precisely for academic contexts with varied grammatical structures.
